Application Deadline Update

On behalf of the Board of Education, I want to update you on the District Administrator Search. The deadline for applications was Tuesday, January 31, 2012. We have 28 applicants for the position. The Board will be reviewing the applications next week and will select their top 6 candidates to interview. The first round interviews will be held on Tuesday, February 21, 2012 and Thursday, February 23, 2012. The Board and Advisory Committee will conduct these interviews. Members of the Advisory Committee will be notified no later than Friday, February 17, 2012, of their selection and given specific information regarding times and place.

I want to let you know that the consultants are very pleased with the quality of the applicants. I will keep you informed as we move through this very important process.
