I began my tenure as the High School Principal at Evansville High School during the 2009-2010 school year. Since coming to Evansville, it has been my genuine pleasure getting to know the students, parents, and staff in the Evansville community.
Lifelong learning has always been a passion of mine, evidenced by the fact I started my PhD work in the UW-Madison Educational Leadership and Policy Analysis program over 10 years ago and I am still not finished! Prior to receiving my administration degree over 10 years ago, I received my Bachelor's Degree and first Master's Degree at UW-Whitewater. I have a passion for secondary level educational research and best practices, and I have been especially interested in assessment and grading practices, inclusive education practices, and teaching for learning practices at the high school level.
My family and I have very much enjoyed living in Evanville. My wife, Ellen, is a 4K/Early Childhood teacher in the Parkview School District. My two sons, Drew and Wesley, are students here in the Evansville Community School District and they enjoy spending their time hanging out with family and friends, playing various sports, and trying to maintain control over their crazy golden retriever, Remy.
