The Evansville Community School District is a district of approximately 1,820 students. We take pride in our small class sizes, our focus on the child as an individual, our comprehensive approach to academics, fine arts, physical fitness and technology integration, and most importantly, a safe, caring, and inclusive learning environment.
The School District is made up of the City of Evansville and the townships of Brooklyn, Center, Janesville, Magnolia, Porter, Union and Rutland.

My child has special needs. Who do I contact? Director of Student Services, Ms. Janessa Katzenberger, 882-3391.
How do I register my children? Register all family members at our school district office at 340 Fair Street. You will be able to pay all fees and set up a family meal account with one stop. Even if your child(ren) are not yet of school age, please register, we can include you in our census and future enrollment information.
