Can I apply for free and or reduced meals at any time?
- Yes, you may apply at any point during the year or reapply should your financial situation change. This can be completed online through Skyward Family Access.
Are meals provided on early release days?
- Yes, meals are provided to students on early release days.
Is Breakfast served at each building?
- Yes, a delicious breakfast is offered at each school. See Breakfast menu for options at each building.
What is available for lunch at each building?
- Elementary buildings have 2 lunch options daily.
- Middle/High School have classic cafe (i.e. lasagna); They also have pizza, grill, fresh choices, creation station (build your own sub/pasta etc.)
- All buildings have an unlimited fruit and vegetable bar at lunch. 1/2 cup of one or a combination of the two are required as part of the USDA Healthy, Hunger-Free Kids Act.

The Evansville Community School District is requesting proposals for the management of the District’s food service operation for the 2024-2025 school year with the option to renew up to 4 additional one-year terms. All proposals must be delivered in a sealed envelope and addressed to Tom Parsons, Business Manager at 340 Fair St, Evansville, WI 53536 before 10 A.M. CST on May 7th, 2024. They should be clearly marked: Food Service Management Proposal. Late proposals will not be accepted and the District has the right to reject any proposal for a sound, documented reason.
A pre-bid meeting is scheduled for April 22, 2024 at 10:00 A.M. at the Evansville Community School District Board Conference Room, 340 Fair St., Evansville, WI 53536. Attendance is required. Submit questions, in writing to Tom Parsons via email: parsonst@evansville.k12.wi.us.
