The Evansville Community School District is committed to providing equal access to technological tools for all students. This includes a low student to computer ratio, access to the Internet for all, and adequate locations, scheduling, and resources for students to practice technological skills.
The Evansville Community School District will provide a positive learning environment that allows students to develop the skills necessary to live and work in the 21st century. Through collaboration of classroom teachers, administrators and media and technology professionals, the Wisconsin Model Academic Standards for Information and Technology Literacy will be integrated into all curricular areas. Students will develop information, communication, interpersonal, self-directional, thinking and problem-solving skills using 21st century tools in real-world, 21st century contexts.
