What's a Makerspace?  It's a place where students work collaboratively to get creative with DIY projects, invent new ones, and share ideas.

As part of LMC Time, students have the opportunity to create and make with Makerspace activities.  Options include: IO Blocks, Ozobots, Bloxels, Strawbees, Bookmark making, Sphero, Legos, Makedo, Dash & Dot robots, and more!

Britannica School is a safe, up-to-date, and age-appropriate information resource for the Discover encyclopedia.

Keyboarding

TypingClub, Dance Mat Typing and Doorway Keyboarding allow students the chance to practice typing and keyboarding skills anywhere there is a computer- just click on the pictures below!

Battle of the Books

TRIS students have the opportunity to participate in Wisconsin's most exciting reading competition!  In teams of 4-5 students, each group will read the 20 books on this year's BOOK LIST. 

Students compete with other teams in TRIS and then across the state by answering questions about the plot, characters, and settings of these books.

SAFARI Montage offers educational video titles which include Schlessinger Media, PBS, The History Channel, National Geographic, Scholastic, Disney Education, BBC and more. 

Reading Rockets provides various resources to support reading skills and interest, including author and illustrator interviews!

Stay up-to-date with current events!  The newspaper is available in the LMC and online.
