Hello! My name is Ellen Thalacker, and I’m excited to introduce myself as the school nurse for Evansville Community School District.
I have worked in pediatric nursing for 8 years, including 2 years in a school environment. I was drawn to school nursing because it allows me to work closely with students, families, and staff to support the physical and emotional health of the children within our own community.
I currently live in Madison with my husband and two children. We love to spend our summers camping, hiking and going to the pool or splashpads!
My goal is to create a welcoming and safe environment for every student. Please don’t hesitate to reach out with any questions, concerns, or just to say hello! I look forward to getting to know you and working together for a great school year.
