The unsuccessful April referendum asked for $2.7 million its first year. The district works with Robert W. Baird & Company as its financial advisor. The $2.9 million was the minimum the district would need over each of the next three years to provide the programming impacted by this spring's budget cuts and to address heating and cooling concerns at Evansville High School.
