Evansville teachers use a balanced assessment approach to inform teaching, to measure student academic progress and to demonstrate accountability. Regular assessment of learning includes a variety of evaluation strategies in the classroom along with a set of common assessments given at each grade level.

The ECSD Assessment Calendar indicates all of the district and state assessment events for the current school year.

The ECSD Assessment Events document (Fall, Winter, Spring) provides detail about the assessment and the groups of students who are being assessed.
